Please see the steps below for how to gain access to these Aspen Publishing platforms.
Casebook Connect
Includes Connected eBooks, Connected Quizzing, and PracticePerfect specific to your courses
Use the steps and video below to access your course materials via Canvas LTI integration.
Please note, you will not need any access codes or class codes to gain access to or use Casebook Connect products, but there may be additional course materials outside of Casebook Connect, for which you will receive an access code and specific instructions from your professor.
- Visit the Southern University Law Center App page and select Canvas.
- Select the course that contains Aspen Publishing course materials.
- Locate the module or module item that contains the link(s) for your course materials, most likely on the Home section of the course.
- Click on the link, then click the button to Load in a New Window.
- Log into or create your Casebook Connect account.
- Once logged in to Casebook Connect, your course materials will display on your bookshelf. You may need to return to Canvas to click on any remaining links to gain access to other course materials.

Aspen Learning Library
Includes a variety of study aids available for you to use throughout the semester
Use the steps below to access these materials via single sign-on (SSO).
- Visit the Southern University Law Center Law Library website.
- In the right side navigation, click Aspen Learning Library.
- If you are not currently logged in to your Southern University Law Center account, select the option for QuickLaunch SSO, then log in to your SULC account.
- You will be automatically directed to Southern University Law Center's Aspen Learning Library.
- Once you have access at the institution level, you can log into or register for a personalized account to enable enhanced features.
